Indoor home or cat proof garden

Older gentleman Nelson has spent many years as a stray before coming to TAG. Those years have taken their toll and Nelson has tested positive for FIV. He’s currently in good health but it does mean he will need to be an indoor cat or a home with a fully cat proofed area/garden so he cannot come into contact with other cats.

Nelson has adapted well to being in the cattery and shows no signs of wanting to return to his life in the great outdoors so we think he will be happy as an indoor cat.

Nelson is a quiet, gentle boy who likes to take his time when making new friends. We provide hiding places so he can feel safe and secure and let him come to us when he feels comfortable and ready. He gets on best with one of our male volunteers but has taken a bit longer to start warming up to the ladies. He loves a fuss and will give you a good head bumping (!) but he will need time to adjust to his new home and someone who won’t expect too much from him in the first few weeks.

No other cats, no dogs or children.

If you can give Nelson the home comforts he’s been missing for all these years please get in touch

Please fill in our application form to offer him a home.
